Winter Solstice, or Yule, is on December 21, 2025 as the moon moves from Sagittarius into Capricorn.

It is the longest night of the year, where we celebrate the return of the sun’s light, yet still honour Winter calling us with traditions such as lighting a Yule log to remind us that the fires of life are banked against the coming long sleep of winter.
