Bay Laurel Hydrosol (Laurus nobilis) by Essences of Nature is an independent artisan and apothecary-distilled hydrosol containing water-soluble plant compounds &  micro drops of essential oil that deliver gentle astringent, antimicrobial & soothing properties.

 Bay laurel hydrosol Energy & psycho-emotional properties:Associated with the throat chakra and the space/ether element. It removes fear, balances emotions, and gives courage and confidence. It transmits a calm strength, and supports psycho-emotional endurance. It’s as if it transmits the message that ‘everything you need is inside you, now, freeing up the internal power to affirm ourselves and move forward.

Suggestions

• In the case of sprains or contusions: use a cold compress (soak a towel in cold water, add 3-6 tbsp. of bay laurel hydrosol) and place on the painful zone. Make hydrosol ice cubes and place them on the wound. (Build up a reserve of ice cubes for children who often injure themselves playing sports.)
• For mouth ulcers, gingivitis or parodontitis, spray the affected area several times a day.
Mix with geranium and/or palmarosa hydrosol and spray a child’s thrush or the treatment zone several times a day.
• Spray varicose ulcers and also drink 2-3 tbsp. of hydrosol a day in water.
• For increased clarity of dreams, drink a cup of hot water with 1 tsp. of bay laurel hydrosol before bed, breathe in the essential oil (apply a couple of drops to your pillow), and spray the hydrosol in the bedroom before going to bed.
• Spray and massage the scalp to treat dandruff, loss of hair and dermatosis

Culinary advice

• Spray boiled potatoes, cabbage and lentils at the end of cooking
• Can replace dried leaves in recipes.
