English Lavender Hydrosol 100ml

Lavender hydrosol also known as lavender floral water, is the aromatic plant or floral water produced by Essences of Nature during the hydro-steam distillation of lavender flowers in my Copper Still, named Fleur.

These cellular waters hold water-soluble plant properties, cells & microdroplets of essential oil,  making it gentle & safe for direct use without dilution.

• Soft, light, fresh & herbal-floral. Much lighter & less concentrated than Lavender Essential Oil.

Because this true hydrosol contains water-soluble plant compounds, it holds a milder, sometimes slightly grassy or earthy undertone rather than the intense floral punchiness of the oil.

Lavender calms agitation, transforms rigidity, balances nervousness and purifies mental blockages.

It relaxes a dense solar plexus when nervousness troubles digestion or creates fatigue, palpitations and hypertension.

It brings harmony and balance during periods of agitation and calms stress. In this way, self-confidence is reinforced and we can face challenges in a more detached manner. It also supports therapies that aim to overcome educational patterns.

Lavender awakens awareness in the crown chakra and battles arrogant, jaded and cynical behaviour.

Properties & Indications

• Astringent, purifying, healing, refreshing and regenerating for the skin: acne, eczema, baby bottom erythema, prevents fleas, wounds, redness, sunburn, itchiness, razor burn.
• Cardiac hypotensor and heartbeat regulator: hypertension, palpitations, arrhythmia.
• Digestive, decreases the gastric acidity: gastric spasms (especially caused by nervousness), gastric acidity, bad breath, stomach ulcers.
• Spasmolytic and analgesic: menstrual cramps, articulation and muscular pain.
• Anti-stress: nervousness, agitation, fatigue.
• Sedative: insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, jet lag.

Suggestions:

• If a baby doesn’t sleep well, add 1-2 tbsp. of lavender hydrosol to the bathwater, and spray the bedroom.
• Use hot compresses on the stomach in cases of abdominal spasm.
• Spray the baby’s bottom in cases of erythema.
• Spray the face after shaving to relieve sensitive skin, redness or razor burn.
Spray the whole body after a day in the sun.
Spray children’s heads before going to school to prevent lice (mix 1-2 tbsp. of hydrosol with their shampoo).
• Use lavender ice cubes on insect bites to immediately soothe them.
• Spray pets to keep fleas away.

Culinary advice:

• Gives a Provencal aroma to fruit salads, desserts, ice cream, crème brulée, and chocolate mousse.
• To impress your guests, make ice cubes with hydrosol and lavender blossoms for a great touch to cocktails.
• Add 1 tsp. of this hydrosol to 1 glass of apple juice to make a surprising and delicious drink.
